The project

Love like we do aims at interviewing people with the common denominator of living in Israel. That is, human beings of different ages, genders, sexual orientations, cultural origins, social groups, economic statuses, political positions, religious options, life trajectories… who share a territory.

We want to listen to their stories and ask them about the presence and meaning of love in their lives. Thus, we will create an inventory of how people, rising above their beliefs, fear and pain, do love day by day.

The final artistic form of this delicate inventory will hopefully be defined through interaction with the people and the treasures we find along the way, and through the magic of the creative process itself.

Love like we do could be carried out in any country or region in the world. But it was born in Israel and it is there that it belongs for now. Whether it leads us anywhere else later on or not remains to be seen.
