Beauty is pigment, light, stone, vibration, ink, rythm, sap, cloth.
Spirit is body.
Art is matter.
We need bread.
I am now busy heating the oven, mixing flour, salt and yeast: none of the tasks on the project’s lists will be accomplished without the very basics. A solid ground, enough resources, the energy required.
Of course I miss my nomad’s insouciance. Travellers feed off the air’s sweetness and other people’s generosity. But if I wish to create something tangible, I need to stop and bake it myself.
I will sing while I knead and the dough will turn lighter and richer.
Lo básico
El amor es piel, voz, aroma, peso, aliento, risa, calor, movimiento.

Necesitamos pan.
Me ocupo ahora de alimentar el fuego, de mezclar harina, sal y levadura: ninguna de las tareas incluidas en las listas del proyecto podrá realizarse sin lo más esencial. Una base sólida, recursos suficientes, la energía requerida.
Claro que añoro mi despreocupación de nómada. Los viajeros se nutren de la dulzura del aire y la generosidad ajena. Pero si quiero crear algo tangible, tengo que detenerme y hornearlo yo.
Cantaré mientras lo hago y la masa se volverá más ligera y más rica.
