A distance of barely 7 degrees of latitude, though enough to create different worlds.

It was rainy when I left Israel two days ago, but at noon I could still walk around in short sleeves and at Eva’s turquoise porch the flowers were bursting with colours.

In Madrid, autumn seems to be mild this year, and yet the fruits of the strawberry trees are ripe and I needed a warm coat to go out on errands this morning.

Luckily, love is present and plentiful regardless of coordinates. And, as a dear friend told me not long ago, it doesn’t dissipate so fast. It welcomes me now back in Spain, I trust it will wait for me long enough in Israel.

That which I carry in my heart I will shelter through all harsh weathers.

Una distancia de apenas 7 grados de latitud y, sin embargo, basta para dar lugar a mundos diferentes.

Lloviznaba cuando dejé Israel hace dos días, pero hacia el mediodía aún era posible estar en manga corta y en el porche azul turquesa de Eva las flores estallaban de color.

En Madrid, parece que el otoño está siendo suave, aun así ya han madurado los madroños y esta mañana he necesitado un abrigo grueso para salir a la calle.

Por suerte, el amor está presente en abundancia sean cuales sean las coordenadas. Y, como hace poco me dijo un amigo muy querido, no se disipa tan rápidamente. Me da la bienvenida ahora de regreso a España, confío en que me espere lo suficiente en Israel.

El que llevo en el corazón lo cobijaré frente a todas las inclemencias.
