For months our embroidery work was interrupted. It was more than enough to keep the fabric taut and the threads and needle ready. But September has brought us the opportunity to add a new motif to the spread of our project.

September for sound. The sound of those voices –weak, distant, somehow obscured in some of our recordings– that we wished to recover. Jorge joined our team and with his expert hands cleansed them and made them ring again. It was a most important assignment, for what would Love like we do be without the resonance of clear voices?

It comforts the heart to see the work prosper. What will the autumn provide? We’ve got the needle threaded!

Durante meses el bordado estuvo interrumpido. Mantener el tejido tenso en el bastidor y los hilos y la aguja preparados era ya más que suficiente. Pero septiembre nos ha traído la oportunidad de añadir un nuevo motivo a la labor de nuestro proyecto.

Septiembre para el sonido. El sonido de aquellas voces –débiles, distantes, de algún modo oscurecidas en algunas de nuestras grabaciones– que deseábamos recuperar. Jorge se unió a nuestro equipo y sus manos expertas las limpiaron y las hicieron vibrar de nuevo. Era una tarea importante, porque ¿que sería Love like we do sin la clara resonancia de tantas voces?
